Digital Store Weekly Round-Up (May 23, 2019)

This week’s new releases are headed by Atelier Lulua and Dauntless, with a number of titles making debuts on new platforms. There are also some new sales for RPGamers to potentially take advantage of.

Nioh 2 Receives Closed Alpha, Gameplay Trailer

Nioh 2 has made its first appearance since its E3 2018 announcement. The game will be undergoing a closed alpha very soon, with a new gameplay trailer released that shows the sequel’s customisable player character.

Utawarerumono Zan to Release in September

NIS America has announced that Utawarerumono Zan is coming west in September. The publisher also released a new trailer for the action RPG spin-off, which showcases a quartet of playable characters.

Judgment Sales to Resume in Japan in July

Sales for Judgment in Japan will be resuming in a couple of months. The game will be re-released as a “New Price Version” in July, with the Japanese version featuring the same new character voice and model as next month’s western release.

Dauntless Now Available

After a lengthy early access period, Dauntless is now making its full debut. Better yet, for this debut everyone is going to be going to the same party.

Path of Exile’s Legion Arrives in June

Grinding Gear Games has announced its newest expansion for action RPG Path of Exile. Chris Wilson was kind enough to give RPGamer a preview of the new content in Legion, as well as details about an overhaul of the game’s melee combat.

Super Neptunia RPG Limited Edition Announced

Idea Factory International has announced the limited edition for Super Neptunia RPG ahead of the game’s release in late June. The edition will be available to pre-order from next week.

RPGamer Round-Up: May 12 – May 19

There’s plenty of varied RPGamer content to check out form this week, with a new writer making his feature debut alongside a new interview, review, and impression. Major news includes another hefty Fire Emblem: Three Houses preview, a full release date for Dauntless, and the early shuttering of a development studio.
