Nioh 2 Receives Closed Alpha, Gameplay Trailer

Koei Tecmo and Team NINJA will be holding a closed alpha for upcoming action RPG sequel Nioh 2. Selected PlayStation 4 users have been invited to join the alpha, which runs from May 24 to June 2, 2019. In addition, a new gameplay trailer is now available and can be viewed below. The trailer shows the customisable protagonist in both male and female versions.

Nioh 2 was originally announced at last year’s E3. The game is a sequel to 2017 historical action RPG Nioh, which follows William Adams as he fights his way through a demon-infested Edo-era Japan. Yo-kai will play a key role in Nioh 2, both in terms of story and combat elements. Neither a release date nor platform outside of the PlayStation 4 has been announced.
