Nioh 2 Goes Gold, Last Chance Trial Announced

Team Ninja has announced that its upcoming action RPG Nioh 2 has gone gold. The game, a follow-up to 2016’s Nioh, is set to launch worldwide for PlayStation 4 on March 13, 2020.

The developer also revealed that there will be a “Last Chance Trial” for the game at the end of this month. The free trial will run from 12am Pacific on Friday, February 28, 2020, until 11:59pm Pacific on Monday, March 1, 2020. During the trial, players will be able to try out the game’s character creation and test themselves in three selected missions, with the new switchglaive weapon available to try out. Progress from the trial will not carry over, but players will be able to load their created character appearances into the full game.
