Nioh 2 – The Complete Edition Now Available

Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja’s Nioh 2 – The Complete Edition is now available worldwide. The bundle containing the game and its three DLC expansions is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5, priced at $49.99. Koei Tecmo provided a new launch trailer to mark the release. The PlayStation 5 version of Nioh is also now available, with both games included in the Nioh Collection bundle for $69.99.

Those who purchase Nioh 2 – The Complete Edition on PlayStation 4 will be able to upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version free of charge. Meanwhile, those who have purchased Nioh 2 but do not have the Complete Edition on PlayStation 4 will be able to upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version of Nioh 2, but will only have access to the DLC that they already own on PlayStation 4.

Released for PlayStation 4 and PC in 2017, Nioh follows William Adams, a half-Japanese, half-English samurai who travels to Edo-period Japan in 1600 and faces off against bandits, samurai, and demons. Nioh 2 was released for PlayStation 4 in 2020 and is set in a fictionalised version of 1555 Japan, as constant warfare leads to the land being infested by demonic yokai. Players control a customisable yokai hunter who hides the fact they are a human-yokai half-breed.
