Nioh 2 Gets Gameplay Trailer with Developer Commentary

Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo have released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming action RPG Nioh 2. The eight-minute video, narrated in Japanese by producer Fumihiko Yasuda with English subtitles, walks through the game’s Mount Tenno stage, slightly altered since the previous demo. Highlighted features include the new hatchet and switchglaive weapon types; the Dark Realm, home to the yokai; Benevolent Graves, places where other players can be summoned for co-op; and a bout with the stage’s final boss, Ryomen Sukuna.

In Nioh 2, players control a yokai hunter who hides the fact they are a human-yokai half-breed. The game is releasing for PlayStation 4 worldwide on March 13, 2020.
