Nioh 2 Launching in March, Beta Starts Tomorrow

Nioh 2 will be launching worldwide for PlayStation 4 on March 13, 2020. The announcement comes ahead of the game’s open beta, which will run from November 1, 2019, to November 10, 2019. The beta will include the game’s new character customisation feature as well as the new Switchglaive weapon. Players in the beta will start in the Interim, a safe zone where they can select and test out weapons and skills. Players will then be able to access a stage based on Sunomata Castle in fall. Those who complete the beta will earn the Mark of the Demon Slayer, which will grant the Kamaitachi Helmet in the full version of the game.

Purchasing options for the game have also been revealed and are available to pre-order now. In addition to a digital standard edition, the Digital Deluxe Edition will include the game plus its season pass (contents to be announced), a Demon Horde weapon set, and a Kodama Netsuke in-game charm. The physical Special Edition will include the game in a SteelBook case, an art book, and the season pass as a voucher code. In addition, its predecessor, Nioh, will be available for free to PS Plus members for a month from November 5, 2019.
