RPGamer Round-Up: September 15 – September 22

Welcome to the latest edition of RPGamer’s round-up column, where we look back at some of the articles that we have posted over the previous week. This article is designed to give reminders of some interesting content and stories that our readers might have missed.

The members of Fairy Tail set off on a roguelike adventure. Despite some issues, Michael Apps reports that the cards are stacked in favor of Fairy Tail: Dungeons.

Turn-based RPG Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven releases next month. RPGamer’s Luis Mauricio had the chance to play a demo that promises a great story and a lot of depth in customization.

Famicom Detective Club continues its surprise return with a brand new title. Alex Fuller dives into Emio – The Smiling Man’s disturbing new set of murders.

The Adventure Corner for Flora’s Magical Delicacies may have been slightly delayed, but rest assured that she always delivers on time and on spec. Michael Baker looks to interest reader in a slightly different blend of gaming tastes.

Developer Moonana Games and publisher Serenity Forge have created a cyberpunk RPG with 80s nostalgic vibes. RPGamer’s Sarah Ferries was able to check out a brief demo for Keylocker at the recent PAX West.

Music has always been an integral part of gaming. Beth McQueen examines whether it plays an even greater role in the player’s experience than first apparent.

Sega and Ryū ga Gotoku Studio unveiled the latest Like a Dragon/Yakuza title. Series stalwart Goro Majima takes the lead in a swashbuckling adventure in February.

A decade after its original Vita release, Bandai Namco and Dimps revealed a remaster of Freedom Wars. The action RPG is set in a dystopian future where humanity lives in city-sized complexes called Panopticons.

Pathea Games revealed a new title in its My Time life sim RPG series. My Time at Evershine will introduce a new art style as well as town management elements.

A demo is now available for Romancing Saga 2: Revenge of the Seven. Players can check out the game’s opening section and witness the start of its multi-generational war.

The new update for Capcom’s Dragon Dogma II adds a lower difficulty Casual Mode. The mode features a more lenient mechanic for Pawns dealing with dragonsplague and more.

Publisher Idea Factory International revealed the dates for the western release of Touhou Spell Carnival. The strategy RPG will be available physically and digitally in North America and Europe in November.

Three years after its arrival on PC and Mac, Get in the Car, Loser! has made a new stop. Love Conquers All Games’s road trip RPG is now available on Nintendo Switch.
