Roguelike Tactical RPG Indomitable Blade Gets New Teaser
Developer Nanbu Works released a new teaser trailer for its roguelike tactical RPG Indomitable Blade. The minute-long video is accompanied by news that composer Yoshimi Kudo — who previously worked on Elden Ring and Unicorn Overlord — is providing the game’s soundtrack. A playable demo for the game will be available at next week’s Tokyo Game Show.
Indomitable Blade sees players taking on apparent hopeless battles time and again. It is set in the kingdom of Klövsdal during war between the factions of Hornese and the invading Lausraumese, and is told from the perspective of Hornese Earl Freyja.
The game’s campaign sees companions and the storyline change with each playthrough. At the end of each attempt, players can carry over equipment and items to a new playthrough. The game’s combat allows normal attacks to damage all stats, allowing for apparent well defender or powerful foes to be taken down after suffering enough attacks. These weakened parameters cannot be replenished, making players to plan when best to use their forces. Indomitable Blade is currently planned for release in late 2025 for PC via Steam.
