Achilles: Legends Untold Gets Free Update, More Platforms

Dark Point Games released a free update for action RPG Achilles: Legends Untold. The update, titled “Fate of Moira”, is currently available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The company also announced the game recent release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with a Nintendo Switch version planned to launch later this year.

The Fate of Moira adds three modes designated to provide challenge to those who already cleared the game: Inevitable Fate of Atropos, Fate of Clotho the Spinner, and Fate of Lachesis the Allotter. Inevitable Fate of Atropos lets players defeat any non-boss enemies with a single hit at the expense of Achilles also dying from a single blow. Fate of Clotho the Spinner sees players constantly losing HP unless they use Hades Vision to stop the HP loss, but which also prevents using attacks and weapons skills, or kill enemies with Drain Souls to recover HP. Fate of Lachesis the Allotter features Laistrygon, an enemy that is invulnerable to damage but can be slowed or debuffed, and which chases players across every map and grows stronger over time.

Achilles: Legends Untold originally released for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in November 2023. It begins at the Battle of Troy and Achilles’s death during his fight with Paris. However, Achilles wakes up back in a monster and undead-infested Greece with no memories of how he returned.

Fascinated by the screens since I saw them, video games are a sorcery I quickly became obsessed with. This passion culminated with the discovery of the RPGs. At that time, they were likely the sole titles where story and world building mattered as much as gameplay. Now, I am writing about them, especially my favorite ones: the JRPGs!
