Darksiders II Coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S

THQ Nordic announced that it will be releasing action RPG Darksiders II for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This release is an enhanced version of the Deathinitive Edition released on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, featuring 4K resolution, ray tracing, improved lighting and shadows, and shorter download times. It will be available digitally on October 15, 2024, for $29.99/€29.99.

Developed by Vigil Games, Darksiders II initially released in 2012 for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. The title is a sequel to the first Darksiders game and sees Earth caught in the midst of the Apocalypse, as the forces of Heaven and Hell rip it apart in their ongoing battle against each other. War has been accused of heinous crimes, and now the second Horseman of the Apocalypse, Death, has been awakened and rides in a struggle to clear his brother’s name.
