Darksiders II Rides Onto Switch

Gunfire Games and THQ Nordic have announced that Nintendo Switch owners will soon have the chance to take the reins alongside Death when Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition comes to the console. Earth has been caught in the midst of the Apocalypse, as the forces of Heaven and Hell rip it apart in their ongoing battle against each other. War has been accused of heinous crimes, and now the second Horseman of the Apocalypse has been awakened and rides in a struggle to clear his brother’s name.

Originally developed by Vigil Games and released in 2012, Darksiders II made the jump to current-gen consoles in 2015. Joining the Switch release of the first game in the series earlier this year, the Deathinitive Edition will feature all released DLC already integrated into the main game, as well as graphical improvements. Darksiders II will be available both physically and digitally for Nintendo Switch on September 26, 2019, for $29.99/£26.99/€29.99.
