Welcome to the latest edition of RPGamer’s round-up column, where we take a look back at some of the articles that we have posted over the previous week. This article is designed to give reminders of some interesting content and stories that our readers might have missed.

An unexpected remake of Actraiser has descended from the skies. Anna Marie Privitere sees if it can live up to the godhood of the original Super Nintendo release.
Matt Masem comes in with a double-dose of Nexomon reviews. He finds the original harkens back to early 2000s games in a fun manner, with the sequel successfully building upon it.
Gust’s Blue Reflection gets its Second Light this November. Alex Fuller was given the opportunity to try out the game’s prologue and first chapter.
Sam Wachter returns with a Backloggin’ the Year update. The third quarter of the year was on the whole a fruitful one, even if September turned into a blur.
Major News
Dungeon Encounters is a brand new title from Square Enix directed by Final Fantasy IX director and ATB creator Hiroyuki Ito. The dungeon exploration RPG will release worldwide in just a couple of weeks.
The release date for the upcoming Final Fantasy action RPG was announced in a new trailer. A new demo is also now available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Koei Tecmo and Gust are returning to Atelier’s Mysterious sub-series. Atelier Sophie 2 is a direct sequel to the first game and is set to release worldwide in February.
Monster Hunter Rise’s PC version is coming in January. The release will be preceded by a demo, with Capcom also providing some details on summer’s Sunbreak expansion.
Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp is a new spin-off title included as part of the upcoming Danganronpa Decadence bundle. Spike Chunsoft provided plenty of details about the board game RPG.

- Shin Megami Tensei V English Voice Cast Revealed
Atlus released its third news program for Shin Megami Tensei V detailing some of Bethel’s demon allies, exploration, and the game’s difficulty options. The company also announced the English voice cast with a new trailer.
Rideon announced a sixth entry in its Mercenaries tactical RPG series. Mercenaries Rebirth will launch in Japan in just a couple of weeks.
The Pokémon Company provided a new update for Pokémon Legends: Arceus plus Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. RPGamers can see plenty of new screenshots and trailers, and learn a few more details about the games.
