The Good Life Demo Announced for Xbox One, PC

Playism and White Owls Inc. have released a demo for debt-repayment and life-sim RPG The Good Life. The demo is available on Xbox One and comes with the reveal that the game will be included in the Xbox Game Pass subscription service when it launches. A PC demo will be available from October 1, 2021, as part of Steam Next Fest. The Good Life launches for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on October 15, 2021.

The Good Life puts players in control of Naomi, a photographer from New York who takes a job from a newspaper company to document the “happiest town in the world”, located in rural England. However, all is not as it seems, and strange events start happening after a murder occurs. The game is directed by Hidetaka Suehiro (otherwise known as SWERY), who previously worked on titles such as Deadly Premonition and The Missing: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories.
