RPGamer Round-Up: January 14 – January 21

Welcome to the latest edition of RPGamer’s round-up column, where we look back at some of the articles that we have posted over the previous week. This article is designed to give reminders of some interesting content and stories that our readers might have missed.

In a steampunk version of Victorian London, three souls make their way through life while the juggernaut of Progress steamrolls ever forward. Michael Baker provided his thoughts on his so far enjoyable experience with Sovereign Syndicate.

The Inquisitor looks to shine a focus on detective work in this alternate history 16th century Europe. RPGamer’s Ryan Costa got an early look at how this dialogue-heavy action adventure is shaping up.


Major News

Atlus and Vanillaware released new details and images for Unicorn Overlord. In addition to introducing more characters, the companies details the game’s class systems.

The latest A League of Legends spin-off title releases next month. Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story is a crafting RPG where players help restore the home of furry yordles.

Pixel Noir is finally ready to exit Early Access. After a final last-minute delay, SWDTech’s detective RPG will fully launch on Steam in a few weeks.

ZeniMax Online Studios announced the latest expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online. Gold Road will release in June, following March’s Scions of Ithelia dungeon DLC.

Atlus revealed the Day One DLC packs for Persona 3 Reload. Players can add costumes, Personas, and music from Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal.

The Grey Knights are heading to consoles. Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters will release on PlayStation and Xbox systems next month.

A new epilogue is now available for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero. The epilogue sees players encounter a new Mythical Pokémon.
