Pixel Noir Gets February Full Release Date
Developer SWDTech announced that its detective RPG Pixel Noir will fully release for PC, Mac, and Linux on Steam on February 8, 2024. The full release was previously set for January 18, 2024, but has undergone a last-minute delay. The game will still be fully playable at MAGFest in Maryland on January 18-21, 2024, with DRM-free copies available to purchase. The full Steam release will be available for $24.99, with a 20% launch discount. After the Steam release, the developer plans to release the game through the Epic Games Store and GOG.com, followed by Nintendo Switch and then PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S releases.
Pixel Noir has been in Early Access since 2019. The game puts players in the role of a private detective, ten years after a traumatic event in an old hospital that resulted in the deaths of their partner and others, spelling the end of their police career. The game features turn-based combat as players take on numerous cases in Pinnacle City, eventually getting the chance to uncover what happened all those years ago.
