Pokémon Scarlet, Violet Get DLC Epilogue, New Mythical Pokémon
The Pokémon Company announced that a new epilogue to The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC is now available in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The epilogue is available to those who have completed a certain postgame event as well as both Part 1: The Teal Mask and Part 2: The Indigo Disk of the DLC. The epilogue involves the new Mythical Pokémon Pecharunt, and requires players to have also obtained a Mythical Pecha Berry via Mystery Gift in Pokémon Scarlet or Violet. After this, players will need to head to Peachy’s in Mossui Town, in the land of Kitakami.
Pecharunt is known as the Subjugation Pokémon and is a Poison/Ghost-Type Pokémon. It uses poison from its shell to make Binding Mochi, which is serves to people and other Pokémon. Pecharunt is then able to use chains to control those who eat the Binding Mochi, which also draws out their deepest desires and latent powers. It has the new ability Poison Puppeteer, which causes any Pokémon poisoned by it to also become confused.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are the latest generation of Pokémon titles and released worldwide for Nintendo Switch on November 18, 2022. The games take place in the new Paldea region with players controlling students sent out on a grand treasure hunt.
