The Elder Scrolls Online Heads to the Gold Road
During its ESO 2024 Global Reveal, ZeniMax Online Studios announced the next story chapter coming to MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online. Following 2023’s Necron, the year’s major expansion will be The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road, which is planed to launch in June 2024.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road will continue events introduced during the Necron chapter and feature thirty hours of main quest contest. The expansion will see players return to locations last seen in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion as they investigate the Daedric Prince Ithelia and her followers. Players’ adventures will see them encounter the Wood Elves and protect the people of West Weald. Gold Road will add two new zones, new enemies, and the new Scribing system. Scribing lets players collect and customise skills, letting them tailor their primary, secondary, and tertiary effects to suit their playstyle.
Prior to the release of Gold Road, ZeniMax Online Studios will release the Scions of Ithelia dungeon DLC. It will release for PC and Mac on March 11, 2024, and for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on March 26, 2024. The DLC includes two and four-player dungeons Oathsworn Pit and Bedlam Veil, with its events leading towards those of Gold Road.
