Welcome to the latest edition of RPGamer’s round-up column, where we look back at some of the articles that we have posted over the previous week. This article is designed to give reminders of some interesting content and stories that our readers might have missed.

Some years after Fairy Fencer F’s debut, Fairy Fencer F: Refrain Chord gives it a full follow-up. Luis Mauricio reports that the inspiration of the muses provides the series with some future promise.

Trinity Trigger is both a love letter to 90s gameplay, as well as a nod to modern gameplay design. Anna Marie Privitere sees if it has enough to stand out among a bevy of other RPG releases.

The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster bundle has finally hit Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. Join Sam Wachter on a trip through memory lane as she shares her thoughts and feelings about this collection.


Major News

DotEmu announced a new remaster for puzzle RPG Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes. The game’s Definitive Edition will launch on PC, PS4, and Switch in the summer.

Monster-battling RPG Cassette Beasts is out now on PC and Linux. Raw Fury and Bytten Studio celebrated the release by announcing its Xbox and Switch console launch date.

The third part of the Mary Skelter dungeon-crawler trilogy is heading to PC. The game will launch on Steam this fall, coming with all of the DLC plus an adventure mode to catch newcomers up.

Shiravune announced that it is bringing Aquaplus’s Dungeon Travelers series to PC. However, the games will not be available on Steam due to issues regarding certain content.

PM Studios and Pathea Games revealed a summer console launch window for My Time at Sandrock. The crafting life-sim RPG is currently available in Early Access for PC.

CyberConnect2 provided some more gameplay details and footage for Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2. The game launches worldwide in just a couple of weeks.
