Cassette Beasts Playing on Consoles in May

Alongside the game’s launch for PC and Linux today, developer Bytten Studio and publisher Raw Fury announced that Cassette Beasts will release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on May 25, 2023. The monster-battling RPG is available now for PC and Linux through Steam, as well as for PC through the Microsoft Store, priced at $19.99 with a 10% launch discount on Steam. The PC version is available on Xbox Game Pass subscription service.

Cassette Beasts takes players to New Wirral, a remote island filled with monsters of all shapes and sizes. The residents have learned to fight back by recording the monsters on cassettes and playing the tapes back to use them in battle. The game features turn-based combat, with an open-world where players travel around with a companion, and two-player local co-op.
