Picontier Switch Version Announced

Flyhigh Works and SKIPMORE announced that “slow-life” RPG Picontier will release on Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo Switch version will release in Japan on June 29, 2023, with a western release not yet confirmed. The game was originally released for PC and Mac via Steam — with English and Japanese language support — in 2022 following an Early Access period.

Picontier is set on a magical island where the player character has been asleep for many years. After waking up, they start a new life in the town of Magmail, guided by Aila, while investigating the substance Piconium that only exists on this island, as well as a mysterious black fog. The game features numerous life and farming simulation elements, as players interact with the island inhabitants, collect materials from the environment and monsters, and craft items and weapons.
