After a long wait, Shenmue III is nearly here. Here’s one last launch trailer before the game hits next week.
Shenmue III is nearing its launch date after many years of wait. Publisher Deep Silver hopes to set the proper mood by showing “The Spirit of the Land”.
Shenmue III received a new trailer at this week’s Gamescom. The video shows some of the arcade mini-games as well as a bit of martial arts combat.
PC backers of Shenmue III will soon be able to get their hands on a stand-alone trial act before the game’s full release in November. Like the PC release, the trial version will be an Epic Games Store exclusive.
Shenmue III gets another small media update with new screenshots and a half-minute teaser trailer. It does at least confirm the return of forklift driving.
After the reveal that Shenmue III’s PC version will launch exclusively on the Epic Games Store, Deep Silver and Ys Net have detailed the options available to those backers who requested a Steam copy. PC and PlayStation 4 versions can be chosen, though refund requests will also be honoured.
Deep Silver and Ys Net showed off the first gameplay trailer for Shenmue III during the PC Gaming Show at E3. The companies also revealed that the game’s PC version will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store.
Limited Run Games held its second annual E3 presentation. Games receiving upcoming physical editions include Transistor, Rogue Legacy, and Dark Devotion, with Limited Run Games also signing on to distribute Shenmue III’s collector’s edition.
Fans of the Shenmue series recently received an update regarding its upcoming third entry. The update explained that Shenmue III’s release was being pushed back to November.
Shenmue III put in an appearance at the recent MAGIC 2019 conference in Monaco. During the conference, Ys Net unveiled a brand new trailer for the game.

Shenmue I & II are out now, giving RPGamers a chance to play through the prior games ahead of third’s release. There isn’t too much of a rush to get through the pair, however, as Ys Net has revealed that Shenmue III is a year away.
The record-breaking Shenmue III Kickstarter campaign continues to raise funds, even three years after the initial campaign ended. The developers hope that a newly-met stretch goal and a reward tier price drop will attract even more backers.
In news that won’t come as too much of a surprise, Shenmue III’s release has been pushed back. At least it gives players more time to remind themselves of events through the upcoming remasters of the previous games.
