Shenmue III to Receive Second DLC This Week

Publisher Deep Silver and developer Ys Net have announced the second DLC, titled the “Story Quest Pack”, will be coming to Shenmue III on February 18, 2020. The new content will see protagonist Ryo Hazuki encounter Shuqin Zhang, a familiar face from the previous game, to kick off a new quest. In order to access this content, players will need to have reached Niaowu or have a clear game save file.

Shenmue III released worldwide on November 19, 2019. The “Story Quest Pack” DLC will be available for purchase for PlayStation 4 and PC via the Epic Games Store; owners of the Complete DLC Collection will see it unlock automatically on the day of release. Those interested in the game can also check out Elmon Dean Todd’s review of the PlayStation 4 version.
