Shenmue III Delayed

Shenmue series creator Yu Suzaki and publisher Deep Silver have announced that Shenmue III is being delayed from August 27, 2019, to November 19, 2019. The email explains that team believes the extra time will provide extra refinement necessary to “deliver the true Shenmue experience players around the world deserve”. Shenmue III will be released for PlayStation 4 and PC.

Shenmue III follows the story of Ryo Hazuki, a teenage martial artist who is searching for Lan Di, a man who murdered his father. His search takes him to China, where the events of the third game take place. Shenmue III will be released eighteen years after the debut of the series’ second entry.
