RPGamer Round-Up: September 29 – October 6

Welcome to the latest edition of RPGamer’s round-up column, where we look back at some of the articles that we have posted over the previous week. This article is designed to give reminders of some interesting content and stories that our readers might have missed.

 


Editorial Content

Keylocker brings together a lot of ideas and inspirations. Ezra Kinnell finds that the cyberpunk RPG has a lot of things going for it, and is a genuinely good experience with the right expectations.

Summer has come and gone, but video games were still played and enjoyed. Let’s see what Sam knocked out of her backlog from July to the end of September.


Major News

Sabotage Studios announced a free update for Sea of Stars. The Dawn of Equinox update arrives in November, ahead of the upcoming Throes of the Watchmaker expansion.

Square Enix released plenty of new details and screenshots for Romancing Saga 2: Revenge of the Seven. The latest update includes new characters, classes, and combat techniques, and also introduces the titular Seven Heroes.

Square Enix revealed that the first major post-Dawntrail update for Final Fantasy XIV will launch in November. The update features plenty of different bits of content.

Developer YCJY Games announced road trip management RPG Keep Driving. The game sees players heading across the country to an early 2000s festival in their first car.

WhisperGames revealed that Astlibra Gaiden: The Cave of Phantom Mist is coming to Switch in a couple of weeks. The title, released as DLC for Astlibra Revision on PC, will be available on the console as a standalone release.

Dojo System and Meridiem Games revealed a release date for cyberpunk RPG Neon Blood. Players will head to the city of Viridis in later November.
