Welcome to RPGmer’s new release round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with details on all of the RPGs released in the last week. Please note we do not currently include Early Access releases where the game is still in development.
Half-Baked Girls

Half-Baked Girls is a supernatural turn-based RPG that follows runaway rebel Renee Noel after she winds up in trapped in a haunted mansion. There she meets another trapped girl, Mitka Foret, whose parents disappeared. The mansion features various spirits, many of which are hostile and begin combat when encountered, while friendly ones may provide side quests. In addition to regular level up mechanics, the game uses tarot cards to upgrade character abilities.

Action RPG Reynatis is set in a version of modern Shibuya that blends fantasy and reality. Magic is feared by the citizens of this Shibuya, meaning wizards are forced to conceal their identities and powers, with an organisation called the MEA dedicated to keeping them under control. The game has six playable characters across the viewpoints of its two competing main protagonists.
Rogue Waters

Rogue Waters takes place in a pirate world overtaken by a terrible curse. It puts players in the role of a pirate captain, letting them recruit and lead their own crew of rogues to grow into fierce pirates. The game features strategic shipdeck combat as well as naval battles, with players able to summon mythical creatures (such as the Kraken) they previously befriended. Each new recruit comes with a randomized skill tree and the game’s world shifts procedurally with each run.
Throne and Liberty

MMORPG Throne and Liberty was originally conceived as a follow-up to NCSoft’s long-running MMORPG Lineage before undergoing significant changes and being rebranded. The game is said to be set in a world with geographical and environmental features that shift during play and features large-scale PvP and PvE combat as well as cross-platform play.

Within the Cosmos
First-person, sci-fi RPG Within the Cosmos takes place in a distant future, where humanity is on the brink of extinction. In an attempt to preserve what is left of the humankind, 500 members of the United Earth Space Agency (UESA) have been selected to be part of an interstellar expedition to the distant Adallio star system. The game features a real-time combat system, with players able to customise their weapons and improve eleven different skills including intimidation and hacking.
