Welcome to the latest edition of RPGamer’s round-up column, where we look back at some of the articles that we have posted over the previous week. This article is designed to give reminders of some interesting content and stories that our readers might have missed.

Adol’s back at the helm again. Ryan Costa joins the protagonist of Ys as he finds himself adventuring with a delightful cast of characters in brisk pacing that makes Ys X: Nordics a winner in the storied franchise.
Card-en-Ciel is hardly the most original game on the market. However, Ezra Kinnell report that the game makes up for this with fine gameplay and fun presentation.
Necro Story is the second RPG released by indie studio Rablo Games. Matt Masem finds that while it occasionally shines, it suffers a bit from the sophomore slump.
Ballistic Moon invites players to return to the Canadian wilderness of Until Dawn. Sam Wachter discovers if the remaster does the hallmark horror title justice.
Dreamlit Games’s Towers of Aghasba looks to combine action, adventure, survival, building, and RPG elements. RPGamer was able to learn more about it before it hits Early Access on PC and PS5 next month.

Monster Hunters will get their chance to try out the latest title in series very soon with an Open Beta Test. Capcom also revealed Monster Hunter Wilds’s new Oilwell Basin region.
Sega and Ryū ga Gotoku Studio revealed plenty of details for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. The update introduces many of its important characters, plus some of the locations players will sail to and from.
DotEmu and Leikir Studio revealed that Metal Slug Tactics is launching in just a couple of weeks. The tactical RPG spin-off to the side-scrolling run-and-gun series will be available on PC and all current consoles.
After initially revealing the game in 2020, Konami provided a full announcement for its Edens Zero action RPG. The game, based on the manga by Hiro Mashima, is set to launch next year.
After fifteen years of development, Freehold Games’s Caves of Qud will fully launch in December. The science fantasy RPG features old school graphics partnered with deep simulation aspects.
Square Enix released some final media ahead of Romancing Saga 2: Revenge of the Seven’s release this week. The update introduces more characters as well as its post-game content.

The Legend of Heroes series took fans to the countries of Librel and Erebonia, but the Crossbell region had been noticeably absent in the series’ official localizations.
