RPGamer Round-Up: April 14 – April 21

Welcome to the latest edition of RPGamer’s round-up column, where we look back at some of the articles that we have posted over the previous week. This article is designed to give reminders of some interesting content and stories that our readers might have missed.

 


Major News

Warhorse Studios is returning to 15th century Bohemia with Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. The game picks up where the first left off, continuing the story of Henry.

During the Nintendo Indie World Showcase, developer The Gentlebros and publisher Kepler Interactive revealed the release date for the upcoming open-world RPG Cat Quest III. The game will launch in August on several platforms.

Developer AtomTeam launched a Kickstarter Campaign for its CRPG Swordhaven: Iron Conspiracy. The game, drawing inspiration from titles like Baldur Gate’s and Icewind Dale, is in development for PC.

Developer and publisher Red Hook Studios announced that Darkest Dungeon II will be available on PlayStation consoles. The turn-based roguelike RPG is set to release in July for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Private Division and Moon Studios revealed that No Rest for the Wicked is coming to Steam Early Access in a few days. The game is billed as a visceral, precision action RPG and is set in an original fantasy world.

Developer Supergiant Games began a technical test for its upcoming roguelike Hades II. This test aims to detect issues ahead of the game’s release in Early Access.

Gunfire Games announced the second DLC for action RPG Remnant II. The DLC, titled The Forgotten Kingdom, will launch later this month.

Publisher G-MODE is bringing mobile spin-off Persona 3 Aigis: The First Mission to PC and Switch in Japan. The game originally released for mobile phones and is set ten years before the events of Persona 3.
