Metaphor: ReFantazio Showcase Set for Next Week

Developer and publisher Atlus announced that it will hold a livestream showcasing its upcoming RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio. The livestream will take place at at 3pm PT/6pm ET on April 22, 2024, and will be viewable on the Atlus West YouTube channel and the game’s Steam page.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is set in the United Kingdom of Euchronia. During the unrest following the assassination of the king, a magic known as the Royal Magic is invoked, which leads to a tournament for the throne. Meanwhile, the player character and their fairy partner Galica are on a mission to break a curse on the prince, who is believed to be dead by the rest of the kingdom. Metaphor: ReFantazio is being developed by the team behind recent Persona titles and was initially teased in 2016 under the code name “Project Re Fantasy”. The game is planned to release in fall 2024 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
