No Rest for the Wicked Hitting Early Access This Week

Publisher Private Division and developer Moon Studios announced that action RPG No Rest for the Wicked will release on Steam Early Access on April 18, 2024. The Early Access version will be available for $39.99/£34.99/€39.99, with a 10% discount for the first two weeks.

The latest title from the studio behind Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps, No Rest for the Wicked is billed as a visceral, precision action RPG set in an original world. The game takes place on an island called Isola Sacra, which is in turmoil following the passing of King Harol and the emergence of a plague known as the Pestilence. Players control a Cerim, a member of a group of mystical holy warriors sworn to defeat the Pestilence.

The initial Early Access version of the game grants access to the first chapter of its story campaign, including a variety of additional quests designed to build up the world, a selection of boss battles, introductions to its gear and upgrade systems, and the ability to purchase a modifiable home. It will also include daily and weekly challenges, plus a repeatable Cerim Crucible dungeon. The full version is planned to include four-player co-op multiplayer as well as PvP multiplayer, farming systems, and more. A full release window has not been announced, with the game also planned to release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
