Remnant II’s Second DLC Announced

Gunfire Games announced the second DLC for action RPG Remnant II. The DLC, titled The Forgotten Kingdom, will launch on April 23, 2024, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This additional content is priced at $9.99, while the DLC Bundle including it, the previous The Awakened King, and a forthcoming third DLC is available for $24.99.

In The Forgotten Kingdom DLC, players are tasked with uncovering the secrets of Yaesha’s lost tribe and a vengeful stone spirit named Lydusa, whose hostile constructs wander the ancient civilisation’s ziggurats. This storyline comes with many additions including a new archetype called the Invoker, several dungeons with new enemies, new characters, new items, and more.

Remnant II is a sequel to 2019’s Remnant: From the Ashes. Like its predecessor, the title is a third-person shooter RPG in which up to three players battle the Root through semi-random campaigns, offering a unique path through the game when started. It features a mix of shooting and melee combat with a heavier focus on the customisable archetypes. Remnant II is currently available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Fascinated by the screens since I saw them, video games are a sorcery I quickly become obsessed with. This passion culminated with the discovery of the RPG. At the time, they were likely the sole titles where story and world building mattered as more as gameplay. Now, I am, writing about them, especially my favorite ones, the JRPG!
