Fate/Samurai Remnant’s Second DLC Releasing This Week

Koei Tecmo revealed that the second DLC for action RPG Fate/Samurai Remnant will release for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on April 18, 2024. The Record’s Fragment: Yagyu Sword Chronicles will be available individually or included as part of the Season Pass alongside the Record’s Fragment: Keian Command Championship DLC and a third forthcoming DLC.

Record’s Fragment: Yagyu Sword Chronicles sees Miyamoto Iori and Saber investigating a highly skilled swordsman and murderer known as Tsujigiri. During their investigations they encounter a new Rogue Saber who has the True Name of Yagyu Tajima-no-Kami Munenori and an unknown purpose. He accompanies the duo as they seek to uncover any potential connection to Tsujigiri. The content will be available once players have reached “My Mind Bides on the Battlefield” (Chapter 3) in the game.

The latest title in the Fate multimedia franchise and developed by Omega Force in collaboration with Type-Moon and Aniplex, Fate/Samurai Remnant is set in the fourth year of the Keian era in Edo period Japan (around 1651 CE). It follows Miyamoto Iori and his partner Saber as they participate in the Waxing Moon Ritual in order to obtain an artifact capable of granting wishes.
