The latest action RPG from Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force studio offers a new tale in the Fate franchise. Ahead of the game’s release later this month, RPGamer was able to put some questions to game director Ryota Matsushita about some of the ideas and challenges for the game.

As it approaches twenty years, Type-Moon’s Fate franchise is getting an action RPG from Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force studio. RPGamer was able to play a preview build featuring four hours of gameplay from its prologue and opening chapter.

Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star and Fate/EXTELLA Link are now available on iOS and Android in Japan. The news comes straight after the announcement of the remake for predecessor Fate/Extra.
