Ichiban Kasuga will go from battling poverty to fighting power shovels on foot, and even spraying condiments on opponents to inflict damage. Yakuza: Like a Dragon is mixing a unique blend of ideas to create a memorable RPG experience.

Ichiban Kasuga will be able to power up various Life Experience attributes in Yakuza: Like a Dragon. These attributes provide a number of different benefits, both in and out of combat.

Survive Bar will be one of the major hangout spots for the party in Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Sega detailed some of the activities available for players to do at the bar, and also released another video showing a bit more gameplay.

A couple of Yakuza: Like a Dragon updates show off some more of the game. A new set of screenshots showcases the different areas of Isezaki Ijincho, while new gameplay footage highlights lots of available jobs.

Though Ichiban Kasuga starts off without any money to his name in Yakuza: Like a Dragon, he will be able to become a successful businessman. Doing so requires navigating dangers such as shareholder meetings.

Life for Ichiban Kasuga is rough early on in Yakuza: Like of a Dragon. The protagonist has to rummage around the streets for money, and compete with the homeless of Yokohama just to survive.

Sega has revealed the winners of its open audition earlier this year for Yakuza: Like a Dragon. In addition to the grand prize winner, four other selected entrants will be appearing in the game.

Sega provided plenty more details on Yakuza: Like a Dragon’s combat system. The information covers two more jobs, special skills, a pair of enemy types, and some summoned help.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon now has a demo available in Japan, which brought with it a new ten-minute story trailer. The video shows all the game’s important characters, plus one very familiar face.
