Bandai Namco has announced a January release date for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. The company also confirmed that the Buu Saga will be covered by the game.

Bandai Namco has released some more media for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. The trailer and screenshots show the Cell Saga as well as Goku and Piccolo’s attempts at earning a driving licence.
Goku won’t be the only playable character in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. Gohan, Piccolo, and Vegeta are also confirmed as playable, with a number of others acting in support roles.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will give RPGamers the chance to play through the Dragon Ball Z series when it releases next year. Pascal Tekaia was able to spend some time with the game, trying out a few side activities before facing off against Raditz.
Bandai Namco followed up its earlier reveal of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot with a selection of additional screenshots. The new images show the world map, world exploration, an apparent fishing minigame, and a battle against Raditz.
The game originally announced as Dragon Ball Game Project Z has been given its official title at E3. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be coming to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One early next year.
Bandai Namco’s teased Dragon Ball Z action RPG has been officially announced. Though not yet titled, the game will see the company teaming up once more with developer CyberConnect2.
Many criticisms can justly be leveled at Dragon Ball Z, but few would say that too little fighting with cards is one of them. This game seems to have been made to correct that nonexistent problem, and the results aren’t pretty. Super Saiyans have to fight Saibamen just like everyone else.
Apparently Goku is vulnerable to bank robbers and can fly for only a few seconds before getting tired. That’s one way to make him less intimidating, I suppose. Death by snakebite? Really?
The Super Saiyan is reputed to be the strongest warrior in the cosmos, but in this game one of them can be easily killed by alligators. You learn something new every day. His name is Mister Satan. I have never considered him Hercule.
More mysteries of the Dragon Ball universe revealed! See – characters forget they can fly to escape a self-destructing vessel! See – criminals who can put up a fight with Super Saiyans! See – Majin Buu wait patiently for characters to gain enough levels to fight him! All in this game! Let’s face it, Satan City is cooler than anything Hercule.
If you don’t know Piccolo from Pilaf, this is probably going to be one crazy read.
The wording of a lot of the sections might make it sound like the game deserves a higher score, but it?s more used to illustrate the fact that Infogram…er?Atari actually bothered to clean up just about every little facet of the game for the better.
