Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’s Bardock DLC Launching in January

Bandai Namco announced that its Bardock – Alone Against Fate DLC for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will launch alongside the game’s dedicated PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions on January 13, 2023. Bardock – Alone Against Fate is the game’s fourth DLC and first piece included in its second Season Pass. It features a reproduction of the events of the Bardock: Father of Goku TV special, including a boss fight against Frieza as well as new interactions with other Saiyans and members of the Frieza Force.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is a retelling of Dragon Ball Z, a manga and anime series centered on Kakarot, more commonly known as Goku. The game released worldwide in January 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch version following in 2021. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions will be available as a free update for those who own the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions respectively.
