Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Shows Bardock Gameplay

Bandai Namco released a new gameplay video for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot‘s upcoming Bardock – Alone Against Fate DLC. The three-minute video shows combat from the DLC’s “Battle on Planet Kanassa” sequence as players control Bardock, alongside his allies Tora and Fasha.

Bardock – Alone Against Fate is the first piece of content for the action RPG’s second Season Pass, and is set to release for all of the game’s platforms in 2023. It features a reproduction of the events of the Bardock: Father of Goku TV special, including a boss fight against Frieza as well as new interactions with other Saiyans and members of the Frieza Force.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is a retelling of Dragon Ball Z, a manga and anime series centered on Kakarot, more commonly known as Goku. The game released worldwide in January 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch version following in 2021, and dedicated PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions set to launch on January 13, 2023.
