Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot to Tell Goku’s Story Next Year

Included in the multiple games shown during today’s Xbox E3 Briefing was Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. The game received a new trailer and an official title reveal after being originally announced in January under the working title Dragon Ball Game Project Z. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is an action RPG that will provide a retelling of the Dragon Ball Z anime and manga series, following the story from the viewpoint of Kakarot, better known as Goku.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is being developed by Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2, and is set to be released in early 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game will include English and Japanese voice-overs, and will be available with subtitles in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Polish and Arabic.
