New Trailer Formally Introduces Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Content

Bandai Namco is ramping up the coverage for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. An introductory trailer reveals that while the game isn’t a fully open-world experience, the action RPG will be explorable without the restriction of invisible walls. The game is heading to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 17, 2020.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has players start as Goku, the iconic hero of the Dragon Ball series. Eventually players will be able to play as other famous Z Warriors, such as Piccolo, Vegeta, and Gohan, as the game offers a retelling of the events of Dragon Ball Z with RPGĀ elements.

The Collector’s Edition of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot includes the game, an exclusive diorama figure, hardcover artbook, and collectible steelbook. RPGamers that pre-order the game will receive a new sub quest, early access to Bonyu’s Training, and a cooking item that permanently boost the melee attack and hit points of one character.
