Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot PS5, Xbox Series X|S Versions; Bardock DLC Announced

Bandai Namco has announced dedicated PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions for action RPG Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions will launch in 2023, with those who own the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions able to upgrade for free.

In addition, Bandai Namco announced a second Season Pass for the game, as well as the first piece of content for the second Season Pass, which will also release in 2023. Bardock: Alone Against Fate will feature a reproduction of the Bardock: Father of Goku TV special. It will include a boss fight against Frieza as well as new interactions with other Saiyans and members of the Frieza Force. All past and future DLC will be available on all platforms.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is a retelling of Dragon Ball Z, a manga and anime series centered on Kakarot, more commonly known as Goku. The game released worldwide in January 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, with Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia versions following in 2021.
