Beerus Headlines First DLC Pack for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

A New Power Awakens – Part 1 is now available for Bandai Namco’s action RPG Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. The first of two planned DLC packs comes with new bosses, transformations, music, and items. The launch trailer can be viewed below.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot retells the story of Kakarot, more commonly known as Goku, a saiyan who was sent to Earth to subjugate the planet, but hits his head and instead becomes one of Earth’s greatest champions. The game begins in the Saiyan Saga and goes through all the main arcs found in the popular anime and manga up to the conclusion of the Buu Saga. The DLC will introduce the God of Destruction and his angelic attendant, Beerus and Whis, into the game as boss battles. Goku and Vegeta will also be able to ascend into the new Super Saiyan God transformation.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The DLC is available for purchase as part of the game’s Season Pass which also comes with A New Power Awakens – Part 2, which is scheduled to release later this year.
