Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Next-Gen Versions Launching in January

Bandai Namco announced that the dedicated PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of action RPG Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will release on January 13, 2023. Those who own the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are able to upgrade for free, with physical standard editions now available to pre-order. The game will also be available digitally in a standard edition and two bundles, the Deluxe Edition and the Legendary Edition. The Deluxe Edition includes a Deluxe Cooking in-game item and access to its Season Pass 1 DLC, while the Legendary Edition includes a Deluxe Cooking and a Legendary Cooking in-game item and access to both the Season Pass 1 and upcoming Season Pass 2 DLC.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is a retelling of Dragon Ball Z, a manga and anime series centered on Kakarot, more commonly known as Goku. The game released worldwide in January 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, with Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia versions following in 2021. The first Season Pass includes the two-part A New Power Awakens original episode and The Warrior of Hope story arc, while the second will include three story arcs, with the first — Bardock: Alone Against Fate — set to launch in 2023.
