Aquaplus has more details and screenshots for the action RPG spin-off to its visual novel/strategy RPG series. In addition, more of Haku’s allies are confirmed to be joining the fray.
Aquaplus has provided some additional information for Utawarerumono Zan. The action spin-off receives a couple more characters plus details on its gameplay and multiplayer, with its opening movie also released.
Aquaplus has released the first screenshots and character art for its Utawarerumono action RPG spin-off. Utawarerumono Zan releases in Japan this September.
Aquaplus is branching out from its usual fare with an action game, though it is still staying in the world of Utawarerumono. RPGamers can also catch Haku, Kuon, and others in gameplay clips that seem vaguely similar to a certain prolific series.
It looks like further titles are planned in Aquaplus’ Utawarerumono series. This is on top of the upcoming remake of the first game and its recently-titled action spin-off.
The first Utawarerumono game is receiving a remake in Japan this year. A new trailer reintroduces many characters that western RPGamers may remember from last year’s Mask of Deception and Mask of Truth.
Despite a sluggish first half, Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception eventually managed to get going and started delivering a fascinating tale. Mask of Truth gladly picks up where it left off in order to complete the duology.
