Utawarerumono Zan Receives First Footage, Japanese Date
Aquaplus has released the debut trailer and announced the Japanese release date for Utawarerumono Zan. The game, which is an action RPG, featuring characters from the visual novel/tactical RPG hybrid duology Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth will be released for PlayStation 4 on September 27, 2018. Aquaplus also released a remake of the first game in the series in April.
Suspiciously Musou, but I approve of more Utawarerumono.
A reminder that I need to watch the anime and finish off Mask of Truth.
I’m pretty so-so on musous, but it’s Utawarerumono, so I’ll buy it. I kinda hope there’s a multiplayer mode, because I need all the couch co-op action RPGs I can get, but that’s probably unlikely.
Based on what the trailer shows off, I’m also guessing this is just going to be an abridged version of Mask of Deception’s plot, but maybe if we’re lucky it’ll show some side material that wasn’t in the game.
