Utawarerumono Zan Trailer, Screenshots Show Some Action Combat

NIS America has released a new trailer and screenshots for Aquaplus’ spin-off action RPG Utawarerumono Zan. The video and images showcase the game’s combat system, which sees players take on objective-based missions on large maps against large numbers of enemies. Players can choose up to four characters to bring on missions and can freely switch between them.

Utawarerumono Zan is an action RPG spin-off that features the cast of Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth. The game offers a retelling of the story of main protagonist Haku with fully animated cutscenes and twelve playable characters. The game also includes online multiplayer for up to four players. Utawarerumono Zan will be released for PlayStation 4 in North America on September 10, 2019, with Europe receiving the game a few days after on September 13, 2019.
