Utawarerumono Remake Receives New Trailer

Aquaplus released a new trailer for its upcoming release in Japan of Utawarerumono: Chiriyuku Mono e no Komoriuta, a remake of the first Utawarerumono game. The three-minute video primarily focuses on introducing the game’s main characters, before providing some clips of an animation special that comes with the premium edition of the game, which is set to be released on April 26, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

Utawarerumono was originally released in Japan as an adult title in 2002, before versions without the adult content were released for PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable in 2006 and 2009 respectively. Two sequels, Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth, were released in North America and Europe for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita earlier this year by Atlus. There is no news regarding a potential localisation for the first game’s remake.
