Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy is a direct sequel to the Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout. Ryza makes her return as the protagonist, making franchise history as the first character to take on the hero role in two successive titles.

Koei Tecmo has announced the western release dates for Atelier Ryza 2. The heroine returns on PC, Switch, PS4, and PS5 in January.

Ryza is set to become the first Atelier protagonist to stay in that role for a second game. Koei Tecmo revealed some of the new synthesis options at her disposal, as well as some more characters she will come across in her new adventure.
Koei Tecmo and Gust provided details and media for Atelier Ryza 2. The returning heroine will have some new skills at her disposal this winter, including swimming.
Though Atelier heroines have appeared in subsequent titles, until now none has stayed in the role of main protagonist. Ryza will buck that trend when she returns for Atelier Ryza 2 this winter.
