Atelier Ryza 2 Gets Details, Media

Koei Tecmo and Gust have provided new details and media for the recently-announced Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends and the Secret Fairy. The newest title in Gust’s long-running Atelier series, the game sees Reislin “Ryza” Stout returning as the game’s protagonist, making her the first to do so in the series.

Atelier Ryza 2 takes places three years after Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness and the Secret Hideout, and follows Ryza as she heads to the Royal Capital of Ashra-am Baird while exploring ruins and seeking to learn the truth behind a mystery of legend. Ryza will have access to new skills, including the ability to swim. She will be joined by many of her old companions, with Klaudia Valentz the first to be confirmed.

Atelier Ryza 2 is being developed for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It will launch sometime in the winter of 2020.
