RPGamer Round-Up: November 1 – November 8

Welcome to the latest edition of RPGamer’s round-up column, where we take a look back at some of the articles that we have posted over the previous week. This article is designed to give reminders of some interesting content and stories that our less regular visitors might have missed.

Solasta: Crown of the Magister is currently available on Steam Early Access. Alex Fuller was able to check out its current implementation of the Dungeons & Dragons SRD 5.1 ruleset and finds it has a good amount going for it.


Major News

N7 Day often marks celebration for all things Mass Effect. EA and BioWare used this year’s occurrence to announce a remaster of the original trilogy, which is set to launch in spring 2021.

NIS America has provided western dates for its bundled release of Saviors of Sapphire Wings and Stranger of Sword City Revisited. The games will launch for Switch and PC in March.

Star Renegades will be arriving on consoles very soon. The game, out now on PC, will hit Xbox One and Switch first before reaching PS4 shortly after.

The Nintendo Switch is getting four The Legend of Heroes games in Asia. Clouded Leopard Entertainment is releasing Zero no Kiseki and Ao no Kiseki along with the first two Trails of Cold Steel games on the console next year.

Square Enix provided some further details and plenty of new images for Bravely Default II. The update covers some of the game’s story and characters and the basic, familiar gameplay elements.

After hitting Nintendo Switch last year, Dragon Quest XI S is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in December. A demo is available now on those new platforms.
