The Legend of Heroes Games Heading to Switch in Asia
Publisher Clouded Leopard Entertainment has announced that it will be releasing ports of The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki, The Legend of Heroes: Ao no Kiseki, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel, and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II for the Nintendo Switch in Asia. Zero and Ao no Kiseki will have Japanese voice-overs with Traditional Chinese and Korean subtitle options while Trails of Cold Steel and Trails of Cold Steel II will have Japanese voice-overs with Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean language subtitle options.
The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki is set to be released on February 18, 2021, and The Legend of Heroes: Ao no Kiseki on April 22, 2021. The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel is set for a June 2021 release while The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II is set for a July 2021 release.
Zero no Kiseki was originally released for the PlayStation Portable in Japan in September 2010. It was then released on PS Vita in October 2012, PC in June 2013, and PlayStation 4 in April 2020 in Japan. Ao no Kiseki first launched on PlayStation Portable in September 2011 in Japan, followed by releases on PlayStation Vita in June 2014 and PlayStation 4 in May 2020.
Trails of Cold Steel first released on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in September 2013 in Japan, before launching in December 2015 in North America, and January 2016 in Europe. A PC release followed worldwide in August 2017, with a PlayStation 4 version released in March 2018 in Japan and in March 2019 in North America and Europe. Trails of Cold Steel II first released on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in September 2014 in Japan, September 2016 in North America, and November 2016 in Europe. It was also released on PC in February 2018 worldwide, then for PlayStation 4 in April 2018 in Japan and June 2019 in North America and Europe.
