Phantasy Star Online 2’s Episode 5 takes on a fantasy flavour. International players will be able to adventure in the Omega dimension when the update launches in a couple of weeks.

Phantasy Star Online 2 is coming to Steam next week along with the launch of its Episode 4 story content. The Steam release will also let western RPGamers in certain countries outside of North America play the game.

In a follow-up to one of the year’s more surprising announcements, Sega has begun accepting sign-ups for the closed beta of Phantasy Star Online 2’s North American release. Those looking to participate will first need to sign up for the Xbox Insider Program.
In perhaps the most surprising reveal of the Xbox E3 Briefing, Sega announced that Phantasy Star Online 2 is finally coming to North America. At present, the game is only confirmed for Xbox One and is not confirmed for Europe.
